Interreligious Engagement Strategies: A Policy Tool to Advance FoRB
at the 25th OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting
Following a year-long, multi-stakeholder consultation process in partnership with the Italian MFAIC and OSCE/ODHIR, including meetings in Bologna, London, Warsaw and Rome, the FoRB&FPI was delighted to launch a policy report, Interreligious Engagement Strategies: A Policy Tool to Advance Freedom of Religion or Belief, that encourages governments to consider interreligious engagement as a vital policy tool to advance FoRB for all at the 25th OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting in Milan.
The launch event panel was moderated by Ambassador Giovanni Brauzzi, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and included panelists Fabio Petito, Director of FoRB&FPI, University of Sussex, Stephanie Berry, Senior Lecturer in International Human Rights Law, University of Sussex, Sharon Rosen, Global Director of Religious Engagement, Search for Common Ground, and Mohamed Elsanousi, Executive Director of the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers.
